The big Swedish House Mafia news over the weekend was the fact that the Wynn resort in Las Vegas used a Sans Serif font that was in line with their branding to tease a major announcement. The announcement was slated to be made on January 10th, but today we have a preview of what might be coming.
Today we found out that Sebastian Ingrosso will have a residency at Wynn in 2019. This is a major shift in information. Almost all reported from the members of Swedish House Mafia in 2018, were that the guys had dropped solo stuff to refocus on the supergroup reuniting. At least for the time being.
The fact that Ingrosso was announced as a resident does not necessarily mean that Swedish House Mafia will be taking on Vegas regularly, but it certainly does lend credence to the idea that Wynn was teasing an announcement that will drop tomorrow about SHM.
If Steve Angello or Axwell are announced today as a resident then we can pretty much call it quits before the surprise this Thursday. Keep an eye out on the Wynn Nightlight facebook page today and tomorrow to see if the mafia will once again be taking over Vegas.
2019 is all about challenging perspectives in new spaces for me and I'm excited to be back home at the @WynnLasVegas. Let's go! pic.twitter.com/OBuQo8MmEk
