Classic Williams knocked it out of the park with his latest release, “Jesus Eyes.” The rapper slows down the tempo and smooths out the vibe, laying down conscious verses that tackle higher themes such as forgiveness, God, and redemption. Classic has done an excellent job being real here, creating a retrospective, topical atmosphere that takes a hard look at the darkness that lurks behind most modern hip-hop culture. If that weren't enough, the tune comes with a solid video that finds Classic repping his home city of Nashville. If this artist stays on this energy I'm sure he'll be blowing up in no time.
