Netflix Shows Us What Really Went Down At The Fyre Festival

We all remember The Fyre Festival even though it technically didn't happen. In 2017, Ja Rule and Billy McFarland attempted to throw what they called “luxury music festival”. As we all know, that isn't exactly how it turned out.

Now, Netflix is releasing a new Documentary called FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened. The documentary will give us real behind-the-scenes footage from the infamous festival as well as new commentary from those affected.

In the trailer, we're shown how Ja Rule and McFarland were somehow able to convince everyone that they could pull this off. Obviously, they couldn't.

“Powerful models built this festival,” says one of the interviewees. “And then one picture of cheese on toast ripped down the festival.” As we know, everything spiraled pretty quickly once that photo hit social media.

The documentary is set to premiere on January 18, 2019 on Netflix.
