Jauz had a truly massive 2018, releasing hit records that blurred genre lines with the likes of DJ Snake and many more. Unfortunately, it seems that Jauz created much more music in 2018 that will ever be heard.
This weekend, the artist took to Twitter to share the frustrating and unfortunate news that he lost over a year's worth of unreleased music when his computer crashed. Jauz was of course, upbeat as possible about the situation looking at the loss of data as a fresh start.
That being said he did have a word to all aspiring producers out there – back up your data, cause you never know when disaster will strike.
Well, might have to say goodbye to all the music I’ve written from 2018 to now (that hasn’t come out yet)…. so much good stuff in the dirt. Back up ur computers kids. Time for a fresh start I guess

Jauz also announced he found a ton of unreleased music from years ago when he searched through his old hard drives. So who knows, maybe Jauz will recreate some previous magic revisiting some forgotten projects.
Found a bunch of sick old projects from way old backups I have, gonna bring these back to life while I cross my fingers and pray for my new shit to get recovered 🙏
