Fortnite may be the biggest spectacle currently in all of video games. Marshmello may be the biggest spectacle currently in all of Electronic Dance Music. Put those two together and what do you get? Probably one of the coolest glimpses into the future we may have ever seen.
On Saturday, Marshmello played a LIVE concert inside of the Fortnite video game. Yes, at 2 pm est, you could head into a 30v30 lobby, drop over at Pleasant Park and there was a FULL stage set up ready to go with Marshmello DJ'ing AND ACTUALLY TALKING LIVE. With damage turned off while at the concert, you got lobbies full of 60 people each doing Fortnite dances, the worm, the Marsh walk, and other crazy emotes.
