Crywolf has released DRIP, the first single off his new album Widow [Oblivion Pt I] which is set to come out in March. This single is a slight glimpse into what the great Justin Taylor Phillips has in store for his fans. Crywolf has a special bond with his pack. The man gives it all on stage and always has time for an exhausted sweaty picture with fans.
In “DRIP,” Justin’s sound continues to develop as he explores different realms of his psyche. During the creation of “DRIP” and the album as a whole, Phillips spent his time in the depths of the Huilo Huilo rainforest, working through what he calls his quarter-life crisis. Through his own captivating vocal overlays, abstract lyricism, and instrumental beats, Phillips creates the world of Crywolf; one that is cinematic and surreal, one that takes you into the dark abyss one moment and into heavenly rapture the next.
