After a monstrous year in 2018 that featured countless hits across multiple genres, David Guetta has made his 2019 debut. His new single is a collaboration with Brooks and Loote and is called ‘Better When You're Gone'.
The vocal hook to this single has a real wow factor. It is catchy, memorable and features just enough of a twang to make it feel just genre-bending enough to be unique. That being said, the song is without a doubt firmly rooted in big room. The drop does leave a bit to be desired. In short, this track is catchy and beautifully produced, but fails to live up to the hype that Guetta built in 2019 when he continually defied expectations with new takes on industry trends.
