News that Feed Me would be returning with a full long play in 2019 broke two weeks back, and the internet has been ravenous for a taste ever since. This weekend, Feed Me has dropped his first single off of High Street Creeps, and it is a true melodic gem.
Feed Me's latest tune is entitled ‘Feel Love' and features Rosie Doonan on vocals. The track is melodic, chilled out and pure house bliss. The release might not stand out to some longtime Feed Me fans who were hoping for aggressive bass, but ‘Feel Love' demonstrates Feed Me's mastery of the electronic genre.
Upon listening to the intro to the tune, I got worried that this song would devolve into another future bass, forgettable record. Oh, boy was I wrong. Instead, Feed Me takes a restrained approach in production and lets the single exist as a pure house tune with palpable emotion.
‘Feel Love' is nothing short of excellent, and we cannot wait to hear the rest of the music featured on High Street Creeps when it is released off of Mau5trap in a few weeks time.
