“BANG” wins for the most interesting collaboration in 2019 so far. NGHTMRE, Shaq (AKA DJ Diesel) and Lil Jon have delivered a track that combines rap vocals, hip-hop rhythms and dubstep beats. With the combination of Lil Jon's hype, and NGHTMRE and Shaq's dubstep, we can see this being an absolute banger this festival season.
“When it comes to dance music, NGHTMRE is my Larry Bird. We spent a ton of time in the studio making ‘BANG' and I called up my favorite rapper in the game to lay a verse down,” says O'Neal.
The track features Lil Jon hyping up the listener with lyrics “nod your head” and intros the bass drop with “bang your head hard as **** when the bass goes” which immediately does into a drop that does not disappoint.
Shaq is quickly taking over and playing at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Lost Lands and even has his own festival series, Shaq's Fun House. Shaq becoming an international DJ definitely wasn't something I was expecting, but am not mad about.
“I met Shaq for the first time in Las Vegas. He came to one of my sets, and we immediately got along and shared our love for bass music,” says NGHTMRE.
