Earlier this month, Skrillex teased “what feels like a couple of bodies of work” that will be forthcoming. After a long hiatus in regards to his individual work – this is a welcome respite for longtime fans. With that in mind, Sonny Moore has just release his first remix of the year, perhaps signaling what is to come. The track comes in the form of a remix to Kelsey Lu's “Due West” which Moore already had a hand in, having served as the executive producer for her album.
The track is subtle and subdued, but adds some house flair to the overall production. It is a far cry from the heaters he has been known to put out, but suggests we may see some more chilled out tracks as a part of his upcoming releases. Both artists were recently playing together at the exclusive FORM festival in Arizona and it was only natural that we see some level of collaboration from these artists. Peep the tune below:
