Recently amassing 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify has been a long time coming for German producer Besomorph, and an accomplishment he has undoubtedly worked very hard to achieve. Having already released 5 original tracks this year, including collaborations with acclaimed vocalists such as RIELL and duo Neoni, the established producer is back with yet another release, this time working on a cover of Timbaland and OneRepublic’s classic hit “Apologize.”
For the single, Besomorph enlists Lebanese producer Anthony Keyrouz and French duo Lunis, bringing the old hit back to life with enchanting vocals and an energetic house drop. The energy slowly builds up with a captivating bass atmosphere, before the drop explodes into a full-on house vibe, dominated by shiny synths and a huge bassline, making up for a result that is impressive and stunning.
“This cover for ‘Apologize' came out very spontaneously as we enjoyed the process and instantly connected with the original. We knew exactly what sound we were aiming for and so we got there very quickly.” – Besomorph
