Young French producer Wizzay quickly follows up the streaming success of his recent Tipsy Records single “Shy” (featuring Kelly Boek) with “Hooked”, with Edmonton’s Rachel Woznow providing vocals this time. “Shy” has already amassed almost 200,000 streams and received editorial support from Spotify. Collectively, songs by both Wizzay and Rachel notch up close to a half million streams. “Hooked” is a departure over past songs for Wizzay. This one goes for an emotional punch together with huge beats and enthralling synth work. Rachel Woznow’s alternately touching and powerful voice fits like a glove and drives the song home for both pop and electronic dance music fans. “Hooked” is the perfect summer track! “Hooked” is available on all streaming platforms. About Wizzay
It still doesn’t happen very often, but Wizzay broke into the music industry at age 15 with his track
“Endless Summer”. He has since honed his craft even more as a producer, remixer and DJ,
resurfacing with new music exclusively on Tipsy Records in 2020. He won a remix contest for his
work on Uplink’s “Chemistry” and has also created well-received remixes of hits by Martin Garrix,
Borgeous, A R I Z O N A, Yellow Claw & DJ Snake, and others on his Soundcloud page.
About Rachel Woznow
After receiving pop radio airplay in California, Rachel Woznow found her way into the Top 30 of
Billboard Mainstream Pop and AC charts with her first two singles, “Big & Loud” and “Firestorm”,
which were also both #1 Indie Songs in those radio formats. She’s an award-winning, energetic pop
singer whose voice is already familiar to club DJ’s, dance music radio stations, and electronic dance
music fans through her work with The Disco Fries, Zeper, Big Z, and C’SAR.
“Hooked” is another remarkable, quality release for Tipsy Records. The label has now achieved
over 65 million streams just on Spotify with tracks from its four-year catalog of breaking talent
such as Alex Parker, Famba, bvdkult, Frank Pierce, MKJ, Nick Peters, Toniia, Flyboy, and Giiants.
The label has a highly tuned ear for its own brand of discovery in both underground and
mainstream hits, licensing to labels including Epic Oslo and Parlophone France, amongst others.
Tipsy is currently flourishing in partnership with Florida based Symphonic Distribution.
