Having stayed overly consistent this year, dropping a stunning, 5-track EP with No Cow On The Ice, as well as a handful of forward-thinking singles, Arc North is seemingly not letting anything stop him in his rise to the top. After the immense success of his Linkin Park cover “Numb,” alongside Aaron Richards, New Beat Order and Cour, the talented producer is back, teaming up with singer, songwriter and producer Shaunt.wav to share the inspirational single “Stronger.”
A joint release between Frequency and Lacuna, “Stronger” sees the Swedish-born producer explore soothing soundscapes and tender beats. Throughout this short-but-sweet single, smooth chords and percussion create the perfect space for Shaunt.wav’s charismatic vocal delivery to shine in the mix. His radio-friendly songwriting adds a lot of flavor to “Stronger,” while the drop explodes into an infectious sequence of vocal chops and heavenly pads, making this a certified electronic-pop hit.
“‘Stronger’ is about someone who is a pushover and keeps returning to a lover who continues to lead them on in love. After one too many times let down, they find the strength to not be controlled and realize that they have to pick up their pieces, move on, and become “stronger than they were before,” explains Shaunt.wav.
