Sparkee continues to make his mark in the Dance world by winning yet another remix competition. Following up on his impressive win and official remix of Tiësto's “The Business,” Canadian artist Sparkee returns as 1 of 3 winners of Ellis' “Orbit” remix competition. The disco inspired remix was released alongside producers Thorne and VNCNT in a 3-track EP via Monstercat.
Sparkee's remix of “Orbit” takes the listener on a groovy far off journey. Sparkee's rendition of “Orbit” is filled with groovy basslines, guitar chords and overall retro 80's vibes. Following his win, in 2021 Sparkee is attempting to complete a 52-week remix challenge where he creates a new remix every single week and streams that process live on Twitch every Thursday night at 8pm ADT. This winning remix is one of the tracks from his 52-week remix challenge. You can check Sparkee on Twitch here .
Sparkee mentions,”I’ve been focusing on remixes this year and wanted to enter a few contests along the way. I was super excited when this one showed up on Label Radar! I’m a big fan of the original and was super excited to put my spin on this one. I stuck to my strengths and created the ultimate fusion of retro vibes with over-the-top 80’s guitar playing and funky basslines.”
