Cheat Codes give listeners a teaser of their future projects with their first single off their upcoming album “All The Things $ Can Do” featuring the distinguished drummer Travis Barker and electro-pop artist Tove Styrke. The powerful song has pop, rock, and trap influences, hinting at the trio’s sound for Hellraisers, Pt. 2.
The artists sing about resolving their state of sadness with materialistic goods. However, Cheat Codes revealed that the song has an underlying message that shows the toxic side of always trying to have more. They expressed that it is good to have a balance in life because not everything can be fixed with money.
Cheat Codes also released a music video for the song. The trio and Tove Styrke are seen entering a beautiful house. Unfortunately, they are there to just clean. They sing about all the things money can do and mess around. They eventually throw a party and trash the residence. They are discovered passed out the next morning by an angry homeowner.
Following a string a successful hit singles, the multi-genre DJs released their first full album last May. The album, Hellraisers, Pt. 1, was highlighted by the lead single “Lean On Me” which featured the singer and dancer Tinashe. Since then, they’ve also released Hellraisers, Pt 1 Remixes and new single, “Never Love You Again,” featuring Little Big Town and Bryn Christopher.
