Regarding the artists, it feels like destiny brought them together for this project. Michael Minelli, an impressive vocalist, might be familiar to you from tours with Marc E. Bassy or his collaboration with Anees. B Martin brings his own heavyweight status as a vocalist and label owner with over 100 million streams across his projects and a recent top 20 hit on the Billboard U.S. Dance charts. And then there’s the production duo Setou & Senyo, gearing up to share the stage with giants like KSHMR and Sam Feldt at the Sunsation Festival in Quebec this June.
B Martin shared the backstory of “Sober” saying, “My homie, Futuristic, linked me with Minelli, we jumped on FaceTime and wrote this banger in about two hours, and a few months later, here we are with a great label deal.” This spontaneous burst of creativity highlights the genuine and electrifying essence of their music which landed them a label deal with Gahara Records.
