Okeechobee has informed it's public that it will be doing something that has a lot of bassheads incredibly upset. They will use security and festival personnel to clear the rail in between every set. This will be done to stop Bassnectar fans from camping in the front row throughout the entire day until he plays his set, which is the last of the day.
Rail camping by Bassnectar fans has been a major issue for quite some time now. They refuse to allow fans of other acts to get to the front row and commonly ignore the act playing on the main stage entirely. Okeechobee has had enough of this behavior and called shenanigans. The real question remains – will other festivals follow this precedent? Personally I say, let's hope so.
