Italian upcoming trio platonickdive came out with a new single called “Waxfall” last week and it's an electronica gem with a live element to it that gives it new life. The calming vibe of the soundscape on this one really got to me, and I'm digging it. Not crazy about the vocals on this one, but from a production and instrumentation stand point it is beautiful. “Waxfall is one of the first songs we composed in the last two years we spent between studio and rehearsal room. It's the natural bridge between our old and new sound. You can hear the very recognizable Platonick Dive vibe in the first part and then the change leads you in a new direction. It's a song about seeing beauty in all the things that make you feel better.”
