Dropping through Sony Music Belgium today is “Work It Out,” a soulful hip-hop cut from Maverick, featuring South African rapper PHFAT.
The producer is hands down one of the most exciting things to happen to electronic music as of late. Alongside some powerful vocal chops, Maverick carries us softly into PHFAT’s deceptively dark, lyrically heavy hooks. Using each of their talents in beautiful cohesion with one another, these two artists come together to create a truly inspiring work.
It is the third track in a series of new tracks set for release on Sony Music, and we can expect future collaborations with Selah Sue, Woodie Smalls, Birsen (Hydrogen Sea), Poldoore and many more. 2018 is set to a good ’un for Maverick!
