The State Of Trance stage at Ultra is always one of the most heavily attended stages. This year will not be any different after the release of the official line up divided by set times. Legendary doesn't even begin to break down this line up. What's more? A surprise special guest…can you say Tiesto throwback or even the return of Deadmau5? We definitely can, as when it comes down to it Ultra reminded us to expect the unexpected.
Estiva opens the stage first and soon after Gabriel & Dresden will take over the crowd. The duo found massive success in 2017 when they firmly returned to claim their rightful seat at the trance table. MarLo and Andrew Rayel step up next before the legendary Paul Oakenfold gets behind the decks. As night begins to settle Vini Vici will send the crowd into a frenzy with their over the top signature style of psytrance then the heavy hitters begin. Rounding out the night is the man himself Armin Van Buuren, followed by Eric Prydz before a special guest closes the stage down.
This will all take place Sunday night – which means the special guest will be closing down the megastructure for good. If you think that doesn't mean something extraordinary than you are mistaken my friend. It looks like choices will have to be made come the closing sets of Ultra 2018.
