Daft Punk have been eerily silent for the last few months. It is common for the Robots to reignite some kind of hype at least once a year. While many thought they would end up as Ultra Music Festival's special guest, Daft Punk in no way contributed to those rumors by staying silent through the first quarter of 2018.
While the latest news about the duo has little to do with their return, it is exciting none the less. Half of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter has produced a new song to be featured in a movie from Argentine director, Gaspar Noé.
The Music of Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter To Be Featured In Climax
Thomas Bangalter‘s new track, ‘Sangria', will be featured in the director of Into The Void's latest film. Climax appears to be about a dance party that starts off innocent enough, but at some point takes a dark and twisted turn.
The movie was screened at Cannes and is reported by Pitchfork to be quite controversial.
Check out the trailer for the film below. The track will be released with the movie on September 19th.
