Bay Dreams are taking things to the next level by launching a Bay Dreams: South Island Edition.
Last year Bay Dreams (New Zealand's largest festival) had a record-breaking 25,000 people turn up to Mt Maunganui and now Nelson can get amongst it too. Festival co-director, Pato Alvarez said: “We searched all over the South Island for the right place and felt that Nelson was the ideal spot for another festival. It's already a popular summertime destination and it has one of the best climates in the country”.
Bay Dreams has scored some major festival headliners in recent years, including Yelawolf, Shapeshifter, Sticky Fingers, Kehlani and DJ Snake.
Promoters say a line-up will be released for next year's event in the coming months. Stay tuned people!
