Firefly Music Festival is taking place at Dover Speedway this weekend. The festival which has grown exponentially over the last 5 years curated a wonderful lineup including several different genres. The main draw this year was Eminem, who after years of silence has returned to the festival circuit. Unfortunately, last night tragedy struck at in the campgrounds of Firefly festival.
Local Woman Found Dead at Firefly Music Festival
Local reports from our writers who are on the ground have been collaborated by Police. A Philadelphia woman, Caroline Friedman who was 20 -years-old was rushed to onsite EMS early this morning. She was soon transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead just before 7 a.m.
Police have said they do not suspect any foul play in the young woman's death, although they are still conducting an autopsy and toxicology report before closing the investigation. Her death follows the passing of a man during the Bonnaroo Music Festival last weekend.
