During a series of tweets on June 8th, the DJ and producer Skrillex talked about being 16 on tour with his previous band From First To Last. During his time in Salt Lake City, Skrillex met a guy running the a record shop called Mechanized that was “super nice and eager to play” records for him.
Kaskade responded shortly after saying that it was his record store that he owned and operated while in college. “You are blowing my mind,” said Kaskade. “This very well could have been me, except I was snobby.”
Since the story has gone viral, many people have chimed in saying how insane the chances are of this happening.

I was 16 on tour with my band From First To Last playing Salt Lake City. there was a record store next door called “Mechanized” (RIP). The guy running the shop was super nice & eager to play me records & was far from the snobby reputation
