Over the course of the average millennials Electronic Music fandom, it is hard to pinpoint a time in which RL Grime was not gracing our earbuds with his banging trap snares, Hip-Hop infused bass lines and just all around impeccable production. His live sets have lived up to his production prominence as he has taken over essentially every stage that matters across the globe. A little over a year ago, RL Grime teamed up with Miguel for “Stay For It”, one of the raddest tracks released in the year and one that left fans yearning for more. Over the course of 2018, Grime has followed “Stay For It” up with even more heat leading up to the release of his NOVA LP.
RL Grime “Pressure” of NOVA Album
And wham! He drops another banger! Shocker, I know. Having already dropped two singles off Nova in the pop-droppy “I Wanna Know” featuring Daya and the Hip-Hop shifted “Undo” featuring Jeremih and Tory Lanez, RL Grime is bringing the heat with his highly-anticipated sophomore album. Yesterday, the LA-native took to Twitter to announce the release of “Pressure” another single off the album coming this hump day! Today, he released it EVERYWHERE!

The production of this track is absolutely ridiculous. From the opening beat to the closing pulse, the listener is taken on a journey through synths that are comparable to the sound I would imagine Angels make, to drum lines that are reminiscent of the rain dance in the African rain forest and the unearthly low drops that in my opinion completely bring the track together. This is the type of ish that we came to love RL Grime for and like before, we are left scratching our heads in disbelief. We have another banger guys and girls. The full Nova album is set to drop July 27, which is only two and a half weeks away!
