Porter Robinson Shouts Out All Of His Favorite Artists In Celebration Of His Birthday

You really cannot much negative to say about Porter Robinson. The artist who rose to fame in his mid to late teens immediately took over the world of dance music with his aggressive crossover electro sound.

Porter would soon evolve into a true innovator with the release of Worlds. The album was ethereal, thoughtful and industry changing. Many thought that it would undoubtedly be the peak of Porter, but alas he had so much more up his sleeve.

Last Fall, Porter debuted his alter ego Virtual Self. The moniker is a passion project of sorts and explores all of the dark corners of electronic music. Intensity is the name of the game when it comes from Virtual Self. From incredibly high BPM's to palpable emotionally charged melodies not much is subtle about Virtual Self.

Yesterday was Porter's Birthday and to celebrate his special day the producer did the most Porter thing possible, deflect all attention from himself to celebrate his favorite artists. He was far out of his way to give credit to artists who inspire him regardless of their reach or clout. Check out the full list below.
