Calvin Harris and Tiesto are literally the two most successful electronic music artists of all time (at least when it comes to money earned). While both artists have revolutionized the dance music industry through their respective funk and trance sounds, in the last few years they have explored pop collaborations with commercial success.
Naturally, when both artists started to produce outside of the genres which helped them come to fame, they received a decent amount of pushback from their fans. People hate change after all. Recently though Calvin had enough of a fan throwing unfounded shade.
Calvin Is Utterly Tired Of The Shade
After performing with Tiesto at Omnia the other night, Calvin Harris uploaded a few photos of himself with the Tijs on Instagram. A fan came through in the comments to express his attitude around Tiesto's new productions and got the shock of the century when Calvin came in swinging.
Love or hate Calvin and Tiesto's new style – they are still very much electronic producers even if they are locking down thousands of radio spins a day.
