Hello and welcome to yet another fantastic edition of EDMsauce.com's Artist of the week series. This week we are bringing a repeat Duo who is no stranger to our AOTW articles. We present you Karel & XoJani for yet another round of showcasing their newest records, music video, and more engaging tracks that will draw you in!
To begin with a bit of a background, in 2017, Karel teamed up with XoJani for their upbeat electro track, “We Get High,” which spread across the globe, pouring into the nightclub and DJ scene, and topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic charts for twelve weeks. Originally released under Karel Ullner’s self-titled project, We Get High peaked at #4 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and #42 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
However, you know why they're here again. They have a new record that we're so happy to share with you!
Karel & XoJani returned with their single, “Dancing,” on July 20th, 2018, receiving high praise from EDM blog We Rave You and EDM Sauce named Karel & XoJani their artists of the week.Produced with Valentin, who helped bring you Lucas Prata’s smash hit “And She Said…” this is a song that gets stuck in your head. Take a look at the smashing music video below!
Karel & XoJani are now excited to share good vibes with their self titled EP, out now worldwide. Tiesto collaborator SWACQ contributed a hot new remix of “Dancing” in addition to his remix of “We Get High.” The EP also includes a new song “Knocking On Love,” with a variety of remixes that include Country Club Martini Crew, Cristian Poow and many more which we absolutely will be covering!

Born in Finland and raised in New York, Karel & XoJani started out in rock bands and electronic Music Production. The duo always had a tendency to soak up new influences and explore new styles. Karel describes his creative process as inspired by images and films, making the approach to songwriting more visual. XoJani contrasts Karel by approaching music through dance and lyrics. Karel & XoJani leave the meanings of their songs up to listener interpretation, although they revealed they were inspired to write about positive moments that bring people together.
