Calling all producers: Avicii is giving you a chance to collaborate with him on a new track with his project “Avicii x You.” Each week, the Swedish DJ asks artists from all over the world to create and upload a different element of the track ( 1. melody, 2. bassline, 3. beat/rhythm, 4. break, 5. effects), and then he will choose the winning sounds to incorporate into the song. While we wait for the final release on January 26th, you can visit the website and listen to the latest versions as he builds to it.
So far, there has been over 3,000 contributors from 140 countries. The project started on January 9th, but you still have time to participate, so get creating!
