-What inspires you when you’re producing a new song?
Oh man! There are so many things that inspire me. Mostly it’s my own experiences or stories that people tell me.
I love to interpret stories or catch a moment in someone’s life and build around that.
To make someone close their eyes and live the moment with the music that I make is always something that I strive for!
-When did you know you wanted to be a producer?
I knew I wanted to be a producer way back when I used to be a singer. I used to live in a small town where the access to producers was problem. I had one producer back then that I used to work with and that was Lido. We used to make so much crazy stuff together. I think at one point we had almost two or three EP’s ready for release but we kept scratching the material cause every time we went into the studio we made something better. I moved away from my hometown and I took all the experience I had with Lido at that point and started producing. Mainly for myself but the interest grew more and more and then I started to produce for other artists.
-What track have you been listening to on repeat lately?
Honestly I have been having Simon Field on repeat for the last couple of months. “Out Of The Blue” is one of my favorite tracks from Simon’s latest releases. We also have a couple of tracks in the making that will drop soon.
-If you could work with anyone, who would it be and why?
Right now there are so many artists in Norway that I want to work with! But I would love to work with Ina Wroldsen. Her voice and songwriting is amazing.
All of her songs really stick out and it’s not just braindead pop music.
There are so many levels in her writing both in lyrics and melodies.
Every time I listen to her music I totally freeze and just sit there listening to every word.
-Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Honestly I don’t know. What I do know is that I will keep on working like I have always done and make sure that I evolve and stay hungry creating good music for all of you!
-And what’s next for you?
Right now I'm finishing up a couple of songs for some Norwegian artists.
Making an afrobeat type of song for my man Bright, can’t wait for this to hit the streets. I also got this incredibly talented young girl Victoria Andersen in the studio right now. Chris Medina and I are currently working on her debut single. We just need to record the whole thing and we’re good to go
I also have a banger with my man Alex Alexander that Maybon and I produced on!
Simon and I have two tracks in the works that we can’t wait to release.
