We have known for quite some time that Deadmau5 has been busy at work on a film score. It is the artist's first time being at the helm of producing a full score for a motion picture. Deadmau5 has shared on his socials constantly about the experience and seems more excited about the project than almost anything else in recent memory.
Deadmau5 Set To Score Netflix Original
The question which remained up until today was: what film would feature Deadmau5's score? Well, thanks to Rolling Stone the question has been answered. Deadmau5 is currently scoring a film adaptation of the graphic novel Polar: Came From the Cold which will be directed by Jonas Åkerlund and called simply Polar.
The film is set to arrive in 2019 on Netflix and features Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical fame as well as Mads Mikkelsen who will play a gritty ex-assassin. Overall the movie sounds both exciting and interesting. No set release date has been announced, but many posit that it will arrive early next year.
