Skrillex this, Skrillex that, Skrillex up, Skrillex down. It seems that where ever I turn lately there is a new rumor surrounding Skrillex in some way. Don't get me wrong, I AM HERE FOR IT. I mean it has been quite a while since the world has been graced with some new original bass music from the legendary producer. That being said a new rumor rose over the last few days thanks to StubHub.
When searching for events in Argentina, one Redditor noticed that Skrillex has Lollapalooza Argentina 2019 listed under Skrillex's current tour dates. This is not the most unbelievable rumor there ever was as Skrillex has been popping up on lineups left and right lately. Also with the release of a new album, we have to imagine that a tour is not far behind.
To play devil's advocate here, I will say this could be a metadata error. Some might remember how fans found an artist profile for Daft Punk on Lollapalooza's website a year ago or so. This occurred because the page on the site had not been removed from the site since 2007 when the robots last toured. Quickly it was announced that the profile page was nothing but a digital artifact. So this StubHub information could only be a glitch…but hey it is fun to think that next year festival's all over the country will welcome Skrillex to their stages.
