When Halloween hits, dance music fans are almost always happy. Specially curated events appear all over cities, spooky new music is released left and right, and of course, RL Grime returns with a massive mixtape.
Last year RL Grime's Halloween VI featured new music from the realm of Trap as well as some first listens to music that would eventually be released on his second studio album, NOVA. What does he have in store for this year? Nobody knows. All that is confirmed so far is that RL Grime has reached out to his legion of fans for help creating a track list for this year, so we can only imagine Halloween VII might feature more undiscovered music than ever before.
Today, RL Grime has revealed that the mixtape will drop on Oct. 26th. Or this coming Friday, so be prepared folks, your face will be melted and you will get chills down your spine. The terror begins the second it starts. Check out the date announcement below which can be seen around Los Angeles.
