David Guetta Purchases One Of The Ultra Rare Copies Of Half Of Daft Punk’s Latest Record

Last week Ed Banger records set the world ablaze when it played Thomas Bangalter's latest record on a social media post. The song called ‘Riga (Take 5)' was created for the arthouse film, Riga (Take One). The song was never officially released and only a very few copies of the record exist today.

The single is over 15 minutes in length and is a fever dream of acid techno bliss. Nobody knew where Ed Banger procured the record from or what would become of it. Today, we got the answer to the latter of those two questions. Turns out another prominent French DJ snatched up the record.

David Guetta Scores Masterful Bangalter Record

Thomas Bangalter, who is better known as the silver robot from Daft Punk has worked independently of the duo for a bit now, producing tracks for artists as well as releasing solo tracks once in a blue moon.

On Instagram today, David Guetta recorded a video of him unboxing a record, and sure enough – it was the exact same record from the Ed Banger record. I guess it pays to be the 2nd most successful DJ/producer in the world!
