Early Saturday morning, Swedish House Mafia tickets went on sale for the first time in over 5 years. After almost 7 straight months of rumors, PR stunts, and the like – Swedish House Mafia held a press conference last Monday at 5:00 a.m. EST to announce they are in fact officially producing new music and performing together.
This announcement answered the biggest question that came from the guy's first reunion set, which happened at Ultra Miami last March. Swedish House Mafia is back together, and new music is on the way. The press conference did not answer all the questions fans had, and it actually created a few new ones. Seb, Axwell and Ingrosso only formula released the date and location for one show, a performance at Tele2 Stadium in Stockholm Sweden next May.
New Details, New Questions
The guys said that more dates would be announced and that they were not yet sure what would be the full scope of the reunion tour. This Saturday tickets went on sale for the guy's only scheduled show. Ticket sales were so strong that they decided to add an additional date. Then, a new countdown timer was added to their website.
This timer is identical to the first one which resulted in the announcements explained above. What does this timer mean? New music? New tour dates? Only time will tell, and the countdown is set to expire on November 6, 2018.
Tickets can be purchased here for the Swedish House Mafia show next May in Stockholm.
