Earlier this week Varien dropped Death Asked A Question; a terrifying yet amazing five-track EP. The entire EP is industrial, distinctive, and much like the producer himself a far cry from the norm.
Track names such as God the Misanthrope, Death Asked a Question, Whore of Babylon, New Fetish, and A Pause To Reflect show that Varien is back to his darkboi ways and firing on all cylinders. Haunting synths, booming bass, sharp industrial sounds, and thumping drums come together on this bloodcurdling EP. Today we adopt the concept Halloween; Varien was born in it.. molded by it, and Death Asked A Question is the result.
