Exclusive Premiere: dzill Drops Euphoric Single “Drift” Accompanied By Incredible Music Video

Of late, EDM fans around the world have been seeking new sounds. Mainstream electronic music is not going anywhere, but the maturing ears of fans around the world are seeking something fresh like Jamba Juice but rage worthy like Donkey Kong. Over the past year, we have seen acts like Grammy-nominated Fisher taking the world by storm and stepping onto mainstages, rocking the former EDM pop run mainstays off the stage, with a more deeper techno sound.

dzill “drift”

All the while, New York artist dzill has been working to master his fresh and rage worthy sound. Stepping into the dance music world, his goal was to deliver on his admirations for the sound. Working in early stages to build a fan base in a wide variety of dance music genres, he has built quite the production brand. Last year he dropped “Phases: The Series” which featured a diverse 3-track release including “I Remember This Differently”, “Hospital Beds” and the title track “Phases” which was choreographed and performed by the LLMoves dance company at the Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2017. Fresh off his drops of “Valley” and his remix to Ariana Grande's “thank u, next” dzill is back with his best single yet, “Drift”

Progressive House

This track provides us with everything we look for in a monster EDM track. “Drift” brings out some rad elements in sub-genres Progressive House, Deep House and even a bit of Future House. The sound manipulation is mastered at a high level and the bounce to this track leaves us yearning for the sound at our next festival or club attendance. The beat makes it impossible for us to not move and sway to the incredible underlying base and vocal sample. Accompanying the single with a massive music video, a deep underlying message is conveyed and we can't help but draw our own conclusions to the story this track is trying to tell! The production of the video can be credited to NY based Tim McAleer and Samali Bikangaga. This video brings together some outstanding, professional elements and we thank them for this incredible piece of art.
