Ultra Music Festival is less than two weeks away and that means it is time to prepare! After finally revealing the final complete lineup for this year's event, we were finally able to bring together a new Must-See list. If you are a first-time attendee to the world's #1 music festival, then this list will definitely be helpful. Make sure to stay tuned for the set times that will be released very soon.
1. Deadmau5 (Cube 3.0 Debut)
It is not a surprise that this performance would be number one on our list. The Mau5 star is taking over the Ultra Live Stage and will be debuting his newest stage platform, Cube 3.0. If you want to be part of this new experience, then you do not want to miss this set. If you enjoy heavy synths and a powerful electronica sound, then you will surely enjoy this popular artist's performance. You can catch him on the Ultra Live Stage on Saturday, Day 2.
2. Dog blood
If you haven't heard of Dogblood yet, then it's time for you to learn about who they are. This DJ duo group consists of popular artists, Skrillex, and Boys Noize. The last time the two played at Ultra was in 2013. After 6 years, the two will be returning to the popular festival, bringing some insane dance music to Virginia Key. If you want to experience this one-of-a-kind performance, then make sure to add them on your schedule once the set times have been released. They will be performing on Friday, Day 1.
3. Odesza
This duo group is one that you must experience at least once in your life. If you enjoy chill yet dance-worthy sounds that will have you either vibing or dancing, then you cannot miss this set. Odeza is known for releasing popular songs, such as “A Moment Apart,” “Say My Name,” and “Falls.” They are also known for their unbelievable yet spectacular live performances that are sure to awe anyone who witnesses them. This live performance is one that must not be missed. You can catch them at the Live Stage on Friday, Day 1.
4. Illenium
Surely, you have heard the name of this DJ-producer before. This popular artist has captured the hearts of many in the last few years. This year, Illenium will be playing at Ultra for the very first time and we couldn't be any more excited. Hopefully, he will be playing some of his popular tracks, such as “Crawl Outta Love” and “Sound of Walking Away.” If you are into music that will emotionally impact you, in a good way, then this is the set for you. We definitely urge every Ultra attendee to see this wonderful performance. His performance will take place on the Live Stage on Saturday, Day 2.
5. Martin Garrix
Martin Garrix is titled as the #1 DJ in the world for a reason. This progressive house star knows how to bring the party to any music festival. There is no way you will be able to resist dancing to his unique yet intense sound. If this is your first time attending Ultra, then make sure to add this popular artist on your list. Clearly, he will not fail to bring the hype to this amazing music festival. Make sure to watch his performance at the Main Stage on Saturday, Day 2.
6. Eric Prydz
This performer is known under many aliases, but none of them will ever compare to this one. Eric Prydz is known for creating world-famous tracks, such as “Call On Me” and “Pjanoo,” and for releasing his album, Opus. If you are into large amounts of techno and progressive house, then you must watch this unique music maker. If you are a dance music lover who has recently started to listen to techno, then you can surely become more educated by experiencing this set. You can catch him on Saturday, Day 2 of Ultra.
7. Kasbo
You may not have heard of this talented music maker, but undoubtedly, you have to see him. Kasbo creates tracks with soothing elements and combines them with ambient sounds. These sounds are sure to alleviate not only your mind but your heart. Much of his music contains vocals from exotic vocalists such as Keiynan Lonsdale and Charlie Kim. Some of his most epic tracks are “About you,” “Found You,” and “Lay It On Me.” You can catch him at the UMF Radio stage on Friday, Day 1.
8. NGHTMRE + SLANDER
NGHTMRE and SLANDER are bringing some good vibrations once again, but this time on the Ultra main stage. As you know, the three DJ-producers are the best of friends who have recently created their own record label, Gud Vibrations. They are known for absolutely bringing the heat to every festival they have ever performed together. If you are into Trap and Bass music and consider yourself a headbanger, then you have to see this set. There is no way you will be disappointed. You can watch this performance at the Main Stage on Saturday, Day 2.
9. Cosmic Gates
If you enjoy trance music, then you have to see Cosic Gates. This DJ duo group is known for creating catchy songs that will have you dancing the night away. Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems, the members of the group, have collaborated with many popular artists, especially Armin Van Buuren. Get ready to experience a whole new level of trance music. Make sure to check them out at The State of Trance stage on Sunday, Day 3.
10. SVDDEN DEATH
If you are riddim/dubstep lover then you absolutely cannot miss this set. SVDDEN DEATH is known for absolutely destroying the dancefloor no matter where he goes. If you are looking to headbang until your neck breaks, then, surely, you will do so here. He is known for creating songs, such as “Sell Out” featuring Marshmello, “Behemoth,” and “Rise.” You can watch his set at the Ultra Worldwide Stage on Sunday, Day 3.
