Australian DJ/Producer/Songwriter tyDi is back, as he takes on Norwegian duo Rat City's new single ‘Kind Of Love’ featuring vocals from Isak Heim. Stripping down the original for a warm and luscious feel, tyDi adds a lengthy build up for a sexy poolside drop, a sharp contrast from the retro feel of ‘Kind of Love.'
When I first heard ‘Kind Of Love' I was… well, in LOVE with the song on first listen. It's always tricky to remix a song that's already so good so I decided to take it in a more clubby direction for my fans. I gave it a really warm sounding instrumental drop and made use of the brass instruments by chopping them up. I can't wait to play this version out to my fans around the world!
A high concept audio visual project seamlessly fusing song and image, Rat City was conceived by Norwegian songwriter/producers Kent and Cato Sundberg, with Lasse Michelsen joining in 2018.
