Alter. and Egzod team up for a powerful new collaboration called “Believe I'm Leaving” that came out earlier this month through rising imprint Lowly. Providing a backdrop for the melodically-dark, well-crafted top line is Egzod’s ominous hard-percussion drops and gritty, ghostly synth-work. An ebb and flow, by way of the production itself, in part aligns the bells and whistles of the single into a well-contained streamlined experience. The vocal on this track reminds me of a Pop Punk song and I am not mad at it. Check out some quotes by the artists on the song below and under that stream their new single “Believe I'm Leaving” – enjoy!
“I've been feeling extremely blessed recently I pay my bills off making music and doing what I love, I just wanted to crystalize that feeling in a record. This collaboration gave me that opportunity.” – Alter.
“Since we share a very similar vision and have a lot in common, we clicked pretty fast via Facebook. This track was done in no time after a couple of Facetime calls and audio exports”. – Egzod
