The online music streaming service, Rdio, has just announced that it will expand its markets to an additional 7 more countries. Recently Spotify announced that it will be launching its web-based music player to complement both the desktop and mobile apps. Today Rdio announced though that it will be expanding into Mexico, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Austria, Latvia and Lithuania to put the total number of countries at 24. If you're not familiar with Rdio, Rdio has an expansive catalog of more than 18 million tracks which are free of charge for six-month trials.
