Dropping ahead of Labor Day Weekend, “Memories” is a summertime standout track that will have you recollecting on past experiences and longing for those good memories. Full of good fun, watch Seanyy’s Best EDM Power Hour 2020, HEREAs a breakout rising talent, Seanyy has already become best known for his diversity. Creating originals across all realms of electronic music and EDM sub-genres, Seanyy’s previous and forthcoming releases through his releases on Swerve Collective Creations are a testament to his artistic range. Originally hailing from Northern Baltimore, Maryland, the 26-year-old producer and DJ, Seanyy, also serves as a Finance Officer in the US Army and is currently stationed in Germany. In everything that he touches, his passion shines brightly, which is all the more reason why you shouldn’t wait to start listening to Seanyy

“Being an Active Duty Army Officer, it's often challenging to find time to sit down in my home studio and make music. Continually, it's disheartening to see my peers excel in sound design and other advanced levels of production. I know being critical of your own music is just part of being a producer, but having a relatively demanding full time job definitely does not help my cause. So, to make up for the lost time, I sometimes hit up some producer friends for lessons. Euan Allison (MAGNUS) and Jesper Jonth (Jonth) are two of my good friends that I've met through music, who I often turn to for feedback and advice. This track was born directly from a lesson I hired Jonth to give me on lead layering. He helped guide me through the mixdown and that is primarily the reason why the drop hits as hard as it does.” – Seanyy

ABOUT SEANYY:

Sean Danielczyk (Seanyy) was born and raised in the small, rural town, Hereford, located just 30-minutes north of Baltimore, MD. The oldest of three, Sean was always a bright and personable kid. He was a relative class clown in school and appreciated attention when he got it. Through all of grade school, Sean was involved with music. Whether it was a recorder, the trumpet, french horn, guitar, or most recently the piano, he has always had a knack for music and theory.

Growing up, Sean did not have WiFi at home, so In order to learn music, he would go to the local library or the café to download bunches of YouTube videos, and study them. His earliest recollections of electronic music was listening to Basshunter ‘Russian Privjet' on repeat while playing Call of Duty World at War. Fast forward a couple of years and Skrillex came out with Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites — and the rest was history. From then on, it’s almost like all Sean listened to was EDM. Infatuated with UKF dubstep, this is where Seanyy’s roots stem from. You can still hear some small melodic elements and heavy bass in my tracks that can trace back to the glory days of Doctor P, Skepta, Modestep, etc.

Sean takes inspiration from artists like Brooks, Retrovision, Lucas & Steve, and most importantly, Don Diablo. After finding success with DJing, Sean downloaded Ableton and released his first track in 2016, a remix for a competition of Switchfoot's ‘Float', which received very positive feedback and was reposted by a handful of Christian music outlets. Sean's first original track ‘Tacos' was released independently back in 2017. Sean is currently stationed overseas with the US Army. Through a busy schedule as an Active Duty Army Officer, time management is the key to Sean's relative success.
