Turntable.fm has been working hard to keep users interested in its product. After gaining such an incredible momentum of attention, it appeared that people either lost interest or the streaming service just wasn't for them.
Turntable.fm has been making moves though despite the dipped numbers after the launch. They have signed licensing agreements with 4 major Record Labels, released Android and iOS apps and allowed more users to be in one room at a time. Unfortunately though Turntable.fm is still only in the United States.
Turntable.fm did reveal the beta version of a new product called Piki last year which was an app on the iPhone which allowed for music dicovery. The app was supposed to create “hand-picked radio” of the artists and songs that their friends like.
