After the rumor that Apple would be announcing their new radio player this week, Apple's long-rumored streaming music service dubbed as ‘iTunes Radio' is officially here.
iTunes Radio is going to function much like Pandora where users are able to create smart radio stations based on a song or artist that is already in your music library. Apple also says that it will provide hundreds of smart radio stations based on a certain genre.
Apple will be offering the iTunes Radio for free to everyone as it is an ad-supported service confirming our post last week. Apple will also offer the ability for the user to purchase a song directly from the iTunes Radio app.
