The first time I listened to Fatboy Slim & Riva Starr's “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” I had mixed feelings of confused, humored, and pleased. I didn't know about the story behind where the song came from. After the explanation the song got a little less confusing and a little more humorous.
“Me and stef (riva starr) were out vinyl shopping in williamsburg, brooklyn earlier this year when we met this dude ranting in the street about some 3 day bender he had been on (and possibly still was….) we hooked him into our serato and chopped him up into a tune. I just wish we’d caught his full name…”
Aside from the unnamed man's ranting, the beats are dope, and together they make something definitely worth checking out!
