Electric Zoo is nearing and I am writhing in anticipation. This major event is being held Labor Day weekend (Aug 30- Sep 1) on Randall's Island in New York. With over 140 acts and 5 stages #EZOO5 is something that you do not want to miss. As we count down the days, Made Event has announced set times for the entire weekend so you can start planning now. They are available online HERE! In addition to dropping the set times, the official Electric Zoo app was made available today for iPhone and Android. Within the app you can create a personalized mobile schedule of all of your must-see acts, share your schedule with friends, and you will also be able to set reminders so that you won't miss a thing. The app also includes a map of the venue including the free water stations + vendors, which is amazing because if you have been to a festival before you know that finding a map is usually near to impossible within a few hours of gates opening. A new feature this year is the ability to share your location on the map with friends. So, no more wandering around hopelessly in a sea of people searching for your group.
Let's face it, rage poles were at one time a good way to find your friends, but with so many of them at one festival it can get kind of overwhelming. Lastly, the Ezoo app has direct access to artist‘s Soundclouds, “Zootube”, and festival FAQs.
