The other night was an entertaining one to say the least. RiFF RaFF headlined at Firestone Live in Orlando and brought along DJ Big Makk and Hi-Rez to open the showcase. While Hi-Rez put on a good, highly entertaining show, Big Makk murked his set by dropping trap-infused bombs accompanied by 808 kicks and furiously fast hi-hats, along with other EDM tunes to keep the crowd hype for the main event. While the openers killed both their sets, RiFF RaFF’s performance was my favorite of the night but my opinion may be a little biased.
I was fortunate enough to briefly interview Jody Highroller (aka Rap Game James Franco) before his performance, and a handful of exclusive music-related info was said during the interview (Like that him and Action Bronson have a collaborative ten-song LP entitled Galaxy Gladiators in the works) along with even more footage of his bizarrely intriguing personality.
