You can volunteer in exchange for festival access. Seriously. Request work-time around your favorite acts and performers and have your friends join in. Bring some edible snacks and call it a day. The catch? Work is work, even at music festivals. There' s a 20 hour minimum. But really, what's 20 hours out of three days? Now that's the definition of modern day hippie.
