KTLA recently reported on the new and improved Forum in Inglewood, California. The Forum, previously known as The Great Western Forum, was home to the Los Angeles Lakers before The Staples Center. The Forum will host ARMIN ONLY next May and will officially reopen in January.
The Madison Square Garden Company is revitalizing the Forum to create a world-class entertainment venue that bridges its iconic past with today’s state-of-the-art technology and amenities. As a result of this revitalization, the Madison Square Garden Company will create the largest and most important indoor performance venue in the country designed to focus on music and entertainment. The Forum revitalization is inspired by the venue’s original 1967 design, and includes upgrades to the entire venue site. Among the key features that will be resurrected in an effort to replicate the original design principle is the exterior color of the venue, which will be repainted to the 1960s “California sunset red.” Additionally, the revitalization of the 40,000 square foot outdoor terrace surrounding the perimeter of the building will offer upgraded food and beverage amenities to elevate the guest experience.
A key part of the Forum is naming Chase as a corporate partner who shares the company’s commitment to the revitalization of the Forum and the Inglewood community. As the presenting partner of the Forum, Chase will have a significant presence in and around the venue, including as part of the venue’s official name: the Forum, presented by Chase.
