After 4 years of fighting proposals, November 19th will be the day that London's Mayor, Boris Johnson will have to make the decision whether the famous nightclub called Ministry Of Sound London will stay open or not.
Ministry Of Sound stands in the way of developer Oakmayne who wants to build over 250 apartments and 80 houses on the Eileen House area. If the plans get approved for the new living spaces, the club will fear noise complaints from the new neighbors which will threaten its 24 hour license and end in a closure.
Ministry of Sound was quoted saying “Over the past decade all of London’s big clubs have closed as a result of redevelopment. We’re the last man standing.”
“Please Boris, do the right thing for London, don’t stop the music.”
